Do you know that according to international health organizations, rabies is rife in Pakistan. It goes without saying that because of poor surveillance network and the lack of awareness regarding the disease, threat of the disease remains persistent in cities like Islamabad. You can find stray dogs in great numbers in these cities. And no one is there to pay heed to it. Disgusting! How can the authorities ignore such a problem. The facts and figures are really upsetting. I think proper vaccination can prove to be a useful solution to this problem.
